Two units at the SIDCO Industrial Estate, Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu. Both conductor lines run from 9.5 mm wire rod through to drummed, despatch-ready conductor, with in-house wire drawing, heat treatment, stranding and testing.

Process
Each line is manufactured to the process approved under its BIS licence. The AAAC route carries two heat-treatment stages that ACSR does not: alloy 6201 develops its mechanical properties only through solution treatment followed by artificial ageing, and both are done on site.

The largest contract in the company's history — 2,869 km of AAAC Weasel, some 273 tonnes — was completed four days ahead of its scheduled date. The 2,000 km order completed in March 2026 landed exactly on schedule.
